Work Equipment (PUWER) Online

This course outlines the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and describes what is needed to protect users of work equipment. Simple precautions taken with work equipment will significantly reduce the risk of injury or illness to the user or others. This course considers the risk associated with using work equipment and what precautions need to be taken to minimise the risks.

The course meets the training and awareness requirements of relevant legislation and regulations including Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It also meets the requirements of CHAS, SafeContractor, Construction line, Exor and other SSIP registrations plus HSE safety training requirements.

We are sorry you had this issue, unfortunately the ‘new’ browser from Microsoft, EDGE, does not run HTML5 very well, the latest language that the industry uses for writing courses and web pages. Consequently all online training providers advise that Google chrome or Firefox are used to run their courses (these browsers are free to download and we can provide the links). If we are contacted we are always more than happy to help resolve any issue.

Thank you for posting a review. At the end of each module there is a mini quiz, this allows you to reflect on what you have just read in the module and prepare you for your final assessment. You can look back through the modules as many times as you wish and there is also no limit on how many times you can take your final assessment until you pass.
