Lone Working & Violence At Work Training - Target Audience

It is the duty of any employer to ensure that they take precautions to protect their employees from harassment, violence and stress.

Any form of harassment or violence against workers can cause stress and in some cases injury and is always unacceptable. Violence and harassment at work can be committed by colleagues, managers and third parties such as clients, customers and patients.

Lone workers, who work by themselves without close or direct supervision must be risk assessed to ensure any potential risks are identified and suitable controls put in place.

This online course would fall into the category of a General Health and Safety Training course that Safety trainers would find useful to train relevant staff and employees especially lone workers and those that deal face to face with the public and handle cash. Bar workers and anybody involved in enforcing regulations would require this training. This course meets the training requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It also meets the requirements of CHAS, SafeContractor, Construction line, Exor and other SSIP registrations plus HSE safety training requirements.

Lone Working & Violence At Work Training Course - Accreditation and certification

ROSPA Certificate

Successful candidates will receive a ROSPA Certificate and 0.5 CPD Credits.

The Lone worker safety awareness certificate has no expiry date because there is no formally recognised period of validity for any health and safety training. The HSE recommends refresher training is carried out whenever it is felt necessary. Safety registration bodies such as CHAS, SafeContractor, ConstructionLine & SMAS and other members of the SSiP scheme recommend most re-training is done every 3 years.

All of our courses, systems and services have been registered to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 quality standard. Quality Management Systems Ltd (QMS) made this prestigious award to Commodious in January 2018. This gives assurance that the training and assessment was completed with a quality registered organisation.
