Target Audience for Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Training

The use of display screen equipment, such as computers, has become common in the modern workplace. It is important that employees are aware of how to use a DSE work station comfortably and with minimal risk to health and safety. Especially those that are working from home or remotely.

The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 as amended in 2002. Places a duty on employers to protect employees from any risks associated with display screen equipment (DSE) and to provide suitable training to all users.

This online course would fall into the category of a General Health and Safety Training course that Safety trainers would find useful to train relevant staff and employees to work with display screen equipment, DSE. As well as meeting these training requirements and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It also meets the requirements of CHAS, SafeContractor, Construction line, Exor and other SSIP registrations plus HSE safety training requirements.

Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Training Course - Accreditation and certification

CPD Certificate

Successful candidates will receive a CPD Certificate and 0.5 CPD Credits.

The DSE safety training certificate has no expiry date because there is no formally recognised period of validity for any health and safety training. The HSE recommends refresher training is carried out whenever it is felt necessary. Safety registration bodies such as CHAS, SafeContractor, ConstructionLine & SMAS and other members of the SSiP scheme recommend most re-training is done every 3 years.

All of our courses, systems and services have been registered to the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 quality standard. Quality Management Systems Ltd (QMS) made this prestigious award to Commodious in January 2018. This gives assurance that the training and assessment was completed with a quality registered organisation.
