Alcohol is something that many people enjoy when consumed safely and in moderation. However, irresponsible drinking can seriously impact people's health and lead to anti-social behaviour.

Licensing laws, such as the Licensing Act 2003 in England and Wales, are designed to promote responsible drinking and prevent any crime, disorder and nuisance that may arise as a result of alcohol consumption. They apply to all businesses that partake in licensable activities, such as the sale of alcohol.

This course covers the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 and provides information on how to manage drunk and disorderly behaviour. It is designed for anyone who works in a licensed premises in England and Wales, such as a bar, restaurant, pub or supermarket.
