Abrasive Wheels Online Course & Certificate
Statistics show most accidents involving abrasive wheels occur because of an unsafe system of work or operator error. There are obvious dangers of wheel breakage or contact with a running wheel but other, less obvious health risks, such as vibration, noise and dust.
This course is for workers using portable tools that have an abrasive or cutting wheel, commonly known as angle grinders, cut-off saws, disc cutters, skill saws, Stihl saws, con saws or ‘whizzers’.
The course satisfies the requirements of relevant legislation and regulations including HSG 17 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It also meets the requirements of CHAS, SafeContractor, ConstructionLine, Exor and other SSIP registrations plus HSE safety training requirements.
